Raised near the Native American Reservation of the Cheyennes in Montana, from early childhood I was interested in the creation mythologies of indigenous peoples - the kernels of truth as contained in their histories, stories and humor.

Utilizing clay and natural materials, I allow images to evolve growing out of experiences; Czech/English heritage, education, and spiritual journey.
