* Full access to Renaissance Internet.

*Mailboxes and aliases (for selected accounts).

*Web site hosting (for selected accounts).

*FTP or FrontPage access with disk space (for selected accounts).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Renaissance Internet exercises no control over the content of the information passing through Renaissance Internet. You are free to communicate commercial, noncommercial, personal, questionable, obnoxious, annoying, or any other kind of information, misinformation, or disinformation through our service. You are fully responsible for the privacy of, content of, and liability for your own communications.

However, given the uncertain state of the law in this area, the following proviso will apply: Content stored on our server and made available to the internet public (e.g. web pages), and activities conducted from within our network must comply with all applicable laws, and must not tend to cause any liability on the part of Renaissance Internet, or tend to cause a deterioration of the services that Renaissance Internet provides. If such content or activity is brought to the attention of Renaissance Internet, and in the opinion of Renaissance Internet such content or activity is illegal or might tend to cause Renaissance Internet to bear a burden of liability or might cause a deterioration of service for other customers, it may be subject to restriction.

We also have a policy against "SPAMMING" which is unrelated to any legal concerns. The accounts of customers who send out mass unsolicited email from within our network will be subject to cancellation at the discretion of Renaissance Internet.

FTP access to Renaissance Internet is not completely without restriction. Customers may upload information into their personal directories. Customers may not, however, upload any *.exe, *.bat, *.cmd files or any other executable files (including cgi scripts and programs) without notifying Renaissance Internet in advance and giving Renaissance Internet a chance to inspect these files. Breach of this condition may cause service to be suspended and offending files in the customer's personal directory to be deleted.

Renaissance Internet makes no warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, for the service it is providing. Renaissance Internet also disclaims any warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. Renaissance Internet will not be responsible for any damages you suffer or inflict on others. This includes loss resulting from delays, non-deliveries, misdeliveries, or service interruptions caused by its own negligence or your errors or omissions. PLEASE NOTE: THIS MEANS THAT WE ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR BACKING UP CUSTOMER DATA. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP THEIR OWN DATA. Use of any information obtained via Renaissance Internet is at your own risk. You are responsible for determining whether or not the traffic you originate will end up being carried on another network, and for following the rules of any such networks. Renaissance Internet specifically denies any responsibility for the accuracy or quality of information obtained through its services.

Any access to other networks connected to Renaissance Internet must comply with the rules appropriate with the other network. Accounts failing to so comply may be subject to restriction or cancellation.
Use of Renaissance Internet for commercial purposes is both permitted and encouraged.

Monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month. Payment is made in advance, except for usage over a customer's allotted time for the previous month. Accounts are in default if payment is not received by the 15th, and we reserve the right to suspend service in such instances. If your payment is returned to us unpaid you are immediately in default and subject to a returned check charge of $10 from Renaissance Internet. Interruption of service does not relieve you of the obligation to pay account fees owed by you. Only a specific request in writing to terminate your service relieves you of your obligation to pay the monthly account charge. If you default on this agreement, you agree to pay Renaissance Internet its reasonable expenses, including attorney and collection fees, incurred in enforcing its rights under these Terms and Conditions.

FIRST MONTH'S FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. ALSO, WE DO NOT PRORATE UPON CANCELLATION OF AN ACCOUNT. IF A CUSTOMER WISHES TO CANCEL IN THE MIDDLE OF A MONTH, SHE MUST STILL PAY FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH UNLESS THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO USAGE UNDER THAT ACCOUNT FOR THAT PARTICULAR MONTH. Renaissance Internet reserves the right to change rates and otherwise modify these Terms and Conditions by notifying you 30 days in advance of the effective date of the change.
